Church Library Open BEFORE the Service on Sunday

Because of our “Prayers for Tacoma” activity after the worship service, the church library won’t be open after the service. But it WILL be open before the worship service. So you can get your books and DVDs and other resources then!

Prayers for Tacoma Sunday

As Pastor Eric explained last Sunday, our worship service this Sunday will be about 10 minutes shorter than usual so people can go out into the neighborhood after the service and pray for the people and businesses and organizations in our neighborhood. Those who aren’t able to walk or drive to their assigned building can pray at home. So whether or not you can participate in this activity after church, we hope to see you in church for a special service of worship and celebration!

The Orion Apartments

THE ORION APARTMENTS

The Orion apartments located at 29 St. Helens across the street from our church, were build in 1979. There are 15 stories and 168 apartment units. Last week the Orion suffered an apartment fire that severely burned one of their residents. The fire was contained to one unit but there was massive water damage to over 60 different apartments and 20 of those families are displaced for the next few months while they work to clean up the damage. Please be praying for the Orion and the many families affected by this tragedy.
