CALLING ALL BELL RINGERS!!!!                                                   

Are you interested in joining the Bell Choir here at FPC?
First Rehearsal begins

Wednesday, September 20th in Middleton Parlor.

The Lindseys are ages 9th grade-12th grade will meet first from 5:30-6:30pm The Chapels are ages 5th grade-8th grade will meet from 7:00pm-8:00pm.

Dinners for 8 Is Coming!


Dinners For 8 provides an opportunity for people to gather together intentionally and regularly to gain relationship, belonging, have fun and fellowship!  Sign up in Fellowship Hall in the month of September.

Choir Opportunity


Join our choir family and honor the Lord through special musical offerings which are lifted up to God to honor His name! We meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in Ferguson Chapel. FPC Fall Youth Kick-Off


Wednesday, September 13th @ 6:00pm in Fellowship Hall

FPC youth ministry is inviting families and students grades 6-12 to join us to kick off the year with a potluck! This is a great chance to meet our leaders, learn about upcoming events and get plugged in! Please bring something to share by grade: 6th-10th Bring a main dish and 11th-12th bring a dessert!

Visit FPC’s Library on Re-Connect Sunday, Sept. 10!

Did you know that FPC has a library in Fellowship Hall filled with books and DVDs and audio resources just waiting to be used? If you are looking for high quality resources for your children or yourself to help you grow in your Christian faith, stop by and visit! We have a large collection of children’s books, adult Christian fiction, Bible commentaries and reference books, and DVDs. If you haven’t stopped by recently, come and check us out!
We have been pruning, cleaning, and adding books and resources during the summer. More than  100 new resources have been added to the collection and are just waiting for you to use them! All of our new books have been entered in the online catalog for easy reference. The Biography section has also been completely catalogued and we are beginning to enter our non-fiction books into our online catalog (we entered our fiction books last year). 
Checking out library materials is quick and simple… just take the library card attached to the book or DVD and fill out the date, your name, your phone or email, and then drop the card in the basket on the desk in the middle of the library. The library is open before and after the worship service on Sunday mornings. Checking out materials is self-service  and can be done whether or not someone is staffing the library.
Stop by our Church Library on Re-Connect Sunday (Sept. 10) and enter a raffle for an Amazon.com gift card plus get a free gift from FPC’s past! And kids can sign up for our new reading program, where they can win awards based on the books they read!

Bring Your Guitar To Camp McCullough!

This Sunday at Camp McCullough, Lance Kagey will be leading our worship time and has asks that anyone with a guitar to bring your guitar to camp to play along with hum during worship, regardless of your skill level.

Saturday & Sunday, August 26th- 27th at Camp McCullough

ONLINE REGISTRATION OPEN at www.fpctacoma.org

Please register for the CAMP-OUT by filling out and submitting the online registration form. Cost of campsite overnight is $25.00 per group. Cost for those just coming out Saturday is $10.00 per group.


Family Camp Out Details
•       Camp will be open at noon on Saturday.  Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy by the lakeside.
•       Camping sites are available on a first come first serve basis.   Please register online to reserve your camping spot.  www.fpctacoma.org
•       The lake will be open for swimming and boating on Saturday and Sunday after the BBQ.
•       The potluck BBQ on the ballfield will begin at 6pm.  Please bring a side to share and your own meat to grill.
•       After dinner we will have a fire pit and smores on the ballfield.  Supplies will be provided for the smores.
•       Service will begin at 10:30 on Sunday morning and will be followed by the all church BBQ.  The BBQ is $5 per person or $15 per family and will be collected at camp.

•       This year’s fundraiser will be to replace the dock boards on the aging dock.  Buy a Board for $25 each.
