Poinsettia Memorials

Place your cash or check ($12.00 per plant) in one of the white envelopes in the pew pockets. Write how you would like your memorial to read. The bulletin insert page will begin with, “IN LOVING MEMORY”. Then fill in the name of your loved one(s) and your message and your name. Place it in the offering plate or mail it to the church office.

Deadline to get your memorials in will be TUESDAY, December 12th.

The list of memorials will be in the bulletin on Sunday, December 17th and then the Deacons will distribute the plants to our shut-in members.

If God has been working in your life these last few months and you would like to share your story, please fill out the card included in the Sunday bulletin and then deposit into the boxes located up front in the Sanctuary, in the Narthex or in the FPC Library in Fellowship Hall.

A Christian Perspective on Fasting

If you are fasting in preparation for today’s Solemn Assembly (or even if you are not), you might be interested in this article by Richard Foster exploring the Christian discipline of fasting.

Books on Revival and Prayer!

As many of you know, this Saturday (November 4) is a Solemn Assembly in order to pray for revival. As part of our church’s focus on revival and prayer, this week (Sunday, November 5) the FPC Library will be highlighting books about revival, spiritual renewal, and prayer on the library display tables. We hope that these books will be a good resource for people looking to learn more about revival, spiritual renewal, and prayer even after the Solemn Assembly.
Many of our prayer and revival books (especially our new ones) are in our online catalog. In addition, we have a selection of prayer books for children that may be helpful in involving children in our focus of praying for revival. You can also find our fiction, biographies, commentaries, reference books, youth books, children’s books, DVDs, and other media listed here.
The FPC Library is located in Fellowship Hall and is open every Sunday before and after the service. Do you have questions or need help locating a specific book or topic? Please send us an email here.
