Great Biographies in the Library!

The FPC Library’s biographies have now been completely catalogued and can be searched for online.
This Sunday (September 17), the library table in Fellowship Hall will be displaying many of our great biographies about many fascinating people!
We have books about well known Christian figures like C. S. Lewis, Joni Eareckson Tada, Corrie Ten Boom, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Billy Graham, Dwight L. Moody, George MacDonald, and many others.
We also have captivating stories of little known Christians and their lives. Expanded Library Prize Program!

This Fall the FPC library is expanding and updating the library prize program! Now, everyone from age 4 to 8th grade can participate and win prizes by reading books.
Every time children and youth read 5 books they get to pick out a prize! Children and youth will use a reading log to track how many books they read. If children are in 2nd grade or younger, they may have books read to them.
The main goals of this program are to encourage reading for fun and to foster spiritual growth in our children and youth. In view of these goals, in order to count toward a reward, books read must be the Bible or from the church library. Parents of young children can use this prize program to start a reading time with their family. Reading together helps children in a multitude of ways and grows the bond between family members.
The library also has new prizes in addition to the prizes from the older prize program especially to celebrate the expansion of the prize program!
Stop by the library table in Fellowship Hall on Re-Connect Sunday (September 10) to receive more detailed information and pick up a reading log.
