First Presbyterian Church Library

Welcome!

The First Presbyterian Church Library has hundreds of books, DVDs, and other resources to help you and your family grow in your Christian faith. We have materials for adults, for men and women, for children, for teens, and for Seniors. We have fiction books spanning every genre, theology books that delve into life’s deepest questions, books on prayer and discipleship, and many commentaries and other resources that will help you dig deeper into the Bible. We also have a collection of classic and contemporary videos and audio resources, including dramas and comedies as well as non-fiction documentaries. We have a small bookstore where you can buy new books recommended by Pastor Eric and books tied our current focus as a church. 
 

Location and Hours

We are located in Fellowship Hall, and we are open for use before and after the church services on Sundays. If you haven’t visited us yet, or if you haven’t visited us recently, drop by! We’ve been adding, pruning, and re-organizing our resources, and we’ve even started an online catalog.
 

How to Check Out a Book

Checking out a book or DVD is simple and quick! Just fill out the date, your name, and your phone or email on the library card attached to the book or DVD you want to check out. Then drop the card in the basket on the desk in the center of the library. Library materials can be checked out for 2 weeks at a time.

Books and DVDs for the 12 Days of Christmas!

This Sunday (December 30), the FPC Library will be displaying books and DVDs for the 12 Days of Christmas. Find some good books or DVDs to read or watch with family and friends.

Stop by the FPC Library this Sunday (December 23) for your last chance to check out books and DVDs before Christmas! We have lots of fun and inspirational books and DVDs that are great for reading or watching with family.
 
The FPC Library has a wide selection of Christmas materials. We have books for all ages about the true meaning of Christmas. We have fiction books and DVDs for adults, youth, and children set during Christmas. We also have books about ways to celebrate Christmas with family. We also have Christmas music CDs. More New Books and DVDs!

Stop by the FPC Library this Sunday (December 16) to see the new books and DVDs that we have recently obtained. We have five new DVDs (plus the two new DVDs from last week) and six new books!
 
The new DVDs are Soul Surfer, Unconditional, The Mighty Macs, Courageous, and IndescribableWe also have two new Christmas fiction books: All Is Calm, All is Bright and Bygone Christmas Brides. We have a new nonfiction Christmas book: The Case for Christmas by Lee Strobel. We also obtained three new youth books: The Comic Book Bible, The Roman, the Twelve, & the King, and The Wind, the Road, & the Way.

New DVDs in the Library!

This Sunday (December 9), stop by the FPC Library and take a look at our two new DVDs. We recently purchased I Can Only Imagine, the recent movie about the story behind MercyMe’s song, and The Case for Christ, based on the real-life story of Lee Strobel.
