First Presbyterian Church Library

Welcome!

The First Presbyterian Church Library has hundreds of books, DVDs, and other resources to help you and your family grow in your Christian faith. We have materials for adults, for men and women, for children, for teens, and for Seniors. We have fiction books spanning every genre, theology books that delve into life’s deepest questions, books on prayer and discipleship, and many commentaries and other resources that will help you dig deeper into the Bible. We also have a collection of classic and contemporary videos and audio resources, including dramas and comedies as well as non-fiction documentaries. We have a small bookstore where you can buy new books recommended by Pastor Eric and books tied our current focus as a church. 
 

Location and Hours

We are located in Fellowship Hall, and we are open for use before and after the church services on Sundays. If you haven’t visited us yet, or if you haven’t visited us recently, drop by! We’ve been adding, pruning, and re-organizing our resources, and we’ve even started an online catalog.
 

How to Check Out a Book

Checking out a book or DVD is simple and quick! Just fill out the date, your name, and your phone or email on the library card attached to the book or DVD you want to check out. Then drop the card in the basket on the desk in the center of the library. Library materials can be checked out for 2 weeks at a time.

Human Beings and Intelligent Design

This Sunday (April 28), the FPC Library will be displaying books on science, faith, and human beings and intelligent design. A new Sunday School class on this topic starts on Sunday and you can stop by afterward to checkout books for further research.

FPC Library Closed on Easter Sunday

On Easter Sunday (April 21), the FPC Library will be closed. Enjoy our Easter service and celebrate with family and friends! Don’t forget to stop by and see us the next Sunday before or after the service!

Last Chance for Easter Books and DVDs

This Sunday (April 14), the FPC Library will be displaying our books for Easter, the Crucifixion, and the Resurrection! The FPC Library will be closed on Easter Sunday (April 21), so this is your last chance to check out Easter books and DVDs before Easter.
 
We have books and DVDs for adults, children, and families! All our Easter books and DVDs can be found in our online catalog here.
 
Also, remember that the FPC Library is displaying books on calling and vocation recommended by Pastor Eric. He recommended these books as part of his Sunday school class. Easter Books and DVDs

It’s almost time for Easter! This Sunday (April 7), the FPC Library will begin displaying our books for Easter, the Crucifixion, and the Resurrection! These books will only be displayed this week and next week, so make sure to stop by and take a look.
