First Presbyterian Church Library


The First Presbyterian Church Library has hundreds of books, DVDs, and other resources to help you and your family grow in your Christian faith. We have materials for adults, for men and women, for children, for teens, and for Seniors. We have fiction books spanning every genre, theology books that delve into life’s deepest questions, books on prayer and discipleship, and many commentaries and other resources that will help you dig deeper into the Bible. We also have a collection of classic and contemporary videos and audio resources, including dramas and comedies as well as non-fiction documentaries. We have a small bookstore where you can buy new books recommended by Pastor Eric and books tied our current focus as a church. 

Location and Hours

We are located in Fellowship Hall, and we are open for use before and after the church services on Sundays. If you haven’t visited us yet, or if you haven’t visited us recently, drop by! We’ve been adding, pruning, and re-organizing our resources, and we’ve even started an online catalog.

How to Check Out a Book

Checking out a book or DVD is simple and quick! Just fill out the date, your name, and your phone or email on the library card attached to the book or DVD you want to check out. Then drop the card in the basket on the desk in the center of the library. Library materials can be checked out for 2 weeks at a time.

Library News and Updates

Books By and About Billy Graham!

This Sunday (February 25) the FPC Library will be displaying books by and about the Reverend Billy Graham who passed away this past week on Wednesday, February 21. 
You can take a look at these books in our online catalog here. Stop by in person on Sunday morning and see our full selection of books by and about Billy Graham, as well as our other biographies, fiction, DVDs, commentaries, children’s, and youth books. Also, we have recently re-organized our Biography section, so that there are now in a more central and easy to reach location! Most of our biographies can now be browsed without having to kneel or bend over like was necessary previously.
The FPC Library is open before and after the service on Sunday mornings. We can be reached during the week through email here.

Books about Politics for President’s Day!

This Sunday (February 18), the FPC Library will be displaying books on Christians and politics for President’s Day, which is on Monday, February 20. We will have books on hot-button topics like immigration, faith and freedom, abortion, and many others.
These books aren’t categorized under a single tag in our online catalog, but you can search for various topics and browse our books that are currently cataloged. You can take a look at our online catalog here. We also have fiction books, biographies, reference works and commentaries, children’s and youth books, DVDs, and more that are listed in our online catalog.

Books on Science!

This Sunday (February 11), the FPC Library will be displaying our collection of books and DVDs on science and how science intersects with faith.
All our books on science can be browsed in our online catalog here. Our books offer Christian perspectives on science, evolution, intelligent design, and other similar topics. Make sure to stop by on Sunday and take a look at the whole range of our selection in person!

Books on Marriage!

This Sunday (February 4th), in the lead up to Valentine’s Day, the FPC Library will be displaying books on marriage!
We have books by Timothy Keller, Gary Smalley, Les and Leslie Parrott, Jim Smoke, Tim Evans, and many more. Some of our newest books on marriage can be browsed in our online catalog here. However, there will be a much bigger selection out on the tables on Sunday, so make sure to stop by and take a look!
