First Presbyterian Church Library

Welcome!

The First Presbyterian Church Library has hundreds of books, DVDs, and other resources to help you and your family grow in your Christian faith. We have materials for adults, for men and women, for children, for teens, and for Seniors. We have fiction books spanning every genre, theology books that delve into life’s deepest questions, books on prayer and discipleship, and many commentaries and other resources that will help you dig deeper into the Bible. We also have a collection of classic and contemporary videos and audio resources, including dramas and comedies as well as non-fiction documentaries. We have a small bookstore where you can buy new books recommended by Pastor Eric and books tied our current focus as a church. 
 

Location and Hours

We are located in Fellowship Hall, and we are open for use before and after the church services on Sundays. If you haven’t visited us yet, or if you haven’t visited us recently, drop by! We’ve been adding, pruning, and re-organizing our resources, and we’ve even started an online catalog.
 

How to Check Out a Book

Checking out a book or DVD is simple and quick! Just fill out the date, your name, and your phone or email on the library card attached to the book or DVD you want to check out. Then drop the card in the basket on the desk in the center of the library. Library materials can be checked out for 2 weeks at a time.

Parenting

This Sunday (March 24), the FPC Library will be displaying books on parenting! If you’re looking for tips for difficult situations in your family or just like to read about different parenting strategies, come by this Sunday and see our selection. Our books and resources on parenting can be found in our online catalog here. 
 
Also, remember that the FPC Library is displaying books on calling and vocation recommended by Pastor Eric. He recommended these books as part of his Sunday school class and the FPC Library will be displaying them for the duration of the class. St. Patrick’s Day

This Sunday (March 17) is St. Patrick’s Day! Have you ever wondered about the real origin of the holiday? St. Patrick was a Christian missionary who had been enslaved by the Irish. After escaping, he return to Ireland to preach the Gospel. Come visit the FPC Library to see books by and about St. Patrick!
