First Presbyterian Church Library

Welcome!

The First Presbyterian Church Library has hundreds of books, DVDs, and other resources to help you and your family grow in your Christian faith. We have materials for adults, for men and women, for children, for teens, and for Seniors. We have fiction books spanning every genre, theology books that delve into life’s deepest questions, books on prayer and discipleship, and many commentaries and other resources that will help you dig deeper into the Bible. We also have a collection of classic and contemporary videos and audio resources, including dramas and comedies as well as non-fiction documentaries. We have a small bookstore where you can buy new books recommended by Pastor Eric and books tied our current focus as a church. 
 

Location and Hours

We are located in Fellowship Hall, and we are open for use before and after the church services on Sundays. If you haven’t visited us yet, or if you haven’t visited us recently, drop by! We’ve been adding, pruning, and re-organizing our resources, and we’ve even started an online catalog.
 

How to Check Out a Book

Checking out a book or DVD is simple and quick! Just fill out the date, your name, and your phone or email on the library card attached to the book or DVD you want to check out. Then drop the card in the basket on the desk in the center of the library. Library materials can be checked out for 2 weeks at a time.

(Re)Connect Sunday at the Library

On (Re)Connect Sunday (Sunday, September 8) stop by the FPC Library table to enter a raffle for Amazon gift cards and free books and take a look at books about the Old Testament recommended by Pastor Eric!
 
Don’t forget that this is also the last Sunday of the 2019 Summer Reading Program. Turn in your books for your last chance to enter the raffle for the stuffed orca whale toy! You can read more about the program here.

This Sunday (August 11), the FPC Library will be displaying books on spiritual gifts. If you’ve ever wondered about what spiritual gifts are, what spiritual gifts you possess, or how to use your spiritual gifts, these books are for you!
 
Our books on spiritual gifts are can be found in our online catalog here. When they are not being displayed, our books on spiritual gifts can be found under the number 234.13 in our Non-Fiction section. Make sure to stop by on Sunday and see them in person!
