“Thinking about where to take your grandma to church for Easter this year? Curious about what all the fuss is about? Feeling down and want to be encouraged? There are a lot of reasons to come to church on Easter. And whatever your reasons are, we’d love to have you come and worship with us at First Presbyterian Church Tacoma. You can’t miss us! We’re the church with the tall tower at the Intersection of Division and Tacoma Ave in the Stadium Neighborhood. Our worship service is at 10:30 AM. Easter is a wonderful time to come to church and experience this special day with a welcoming congregation who loves Jesus and loves visitors. We get a little crowded so come early if you want a particular seat. But don’t worry if you’re late. There’s always room for one more!”

Parking

Being located in the heart of the Stadium District, it can be difficult at times to find parking. Luckily we have the gift of having a large parking lot located right next to our church! Guests can access our parking lot from several different areas: at Division Ave and S G St. OR Tacoma Ave S and S 2nd St.

For those using applications such as Google Maps or Apple Maps, search “First Presbyterian Church Tacoma,” and you will receive directions to our church.

We do ask those who are already apart of our church community to find parking near First Presbyterian Church so that we can leave as much space as possible for those who may be joining us for the first time. Thank you!

The Last Words tells the story of Jesus’ final words from the cross. Each year, the centurion who carried out the death sentence of Christ returns to the place where it occurred to pay homage to the man he put to death. You will never experience the final words of Jesus in the same way again. The First Presbyterian Church worship band will also be participating in the service.
