Daniel Perrin’s “Taken Generation” to be Presented Feb. 10 in Issaquah

For many years, FPC Minister of Worship Dr. Daniel Perrin has been working on a powerful musical titled Taken Generation, which is set in the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II. On Monday, February 10, the musical will be presented as a staged reading at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 22116 SE 51st Place, Issaquah, at 7:30 pm. FPC members and friends are invited to attend this special free event.

Taken Generation tells the story of three friends who grew up together in pre-World War II, Warsaw. When the country is subjugated and a ghetto created for the Jews, the friends find a way to survive while resisting the Nazis. Adam is the son of a Rabbi, Marek is a priest, and Rachel is an entertainer at The Cabaret, a nightclub within the ghetto walls.

The reading is professionally directed and acted. Due to subject matter, a PG rating is appropriate. This is a free event and open to the public. If you need more information, contact jwest@fpctacoma.org.
