Worship and BBQ at Camp McCullough, Rain or Shine!
Did you know that when rain is used in the Bible it is almost always connected to God’s blessing? And given the drought and recent wildfires, I think that we can consider any rain that we get this weekend a blessing as well. But, you may still be asking yourself, what does that mean for our worship service this Sunday at Camp McCullough? And I’m happy to let you know that we are going forward with our plans for worship at Camp even if it is raining. If it does rain, we will most likely do most of the service in the lodge and just go outside briefly for the baptism. And after the service, we will go forward with our Church Family Picnic—and some of us may even do some swimming in the rain. In any case, rain or shine, you will be blessed by this special time of worship and fellowship together. I do hope that you will be able to be there.

90-Day Gospel Challenge
The 90-Day Gospel Challenge is an exciting program where you commit to reading through the four gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) in 90 days. Starting on September 14, we are asking everyone connected with FPC Tacoma to participate by reading one chapter from the Bible each day for 90 days. While reading the chapter, we are asking people to reflect on two questions: “What is Jesus saying to me right now?” and “What am I going to do about it?” We are hoping that this study can change your life! On our special 90-Day Gospel Challenge Blog, we will publish a brief reflection on each day’s passage by a friend or member of FPC. So check the blog each day starting September 14!
