FPC Library and “Information Central”

Welcome!

FPC’s Library has hundreds of books, DVDs, and other resources to help you and your family grow in your Christian faith. We have materials for adults, for men and women, for children, for teens, and for Seniors. We have fiction books spanning every genre, theology books that delve into life’s deepest questions, books on prayer and discipleship, and many commentaries and other resources that will help you dig deeper into the Bible. We also have a collection of classic and contemporary videos and audio resources, including dramas and comedies as well as non-fiction documentaries. We also are a place where you can find out more information about what is happening in the church. In short, we are FPC’s “Information Central.”

Location and Hours

We are located in Fellowship Hall, and we are open for use before and after the church services on Sundays. If you haven’t visited us yet, or if you haven’t visited us recently, drop by! We’ve been adding, pruning, and re-organizing our resources, and we’ve even started an online catalog.

How to Check Out a Book

Checking out a book or DVD is simple and quick! Just fill out the date, your name, and your phone or email on the library card attached to the book or DVD you want to check out. Then drop the card in the basket on the desk in the center of the library. Library materials can be checked out for 2-weeks at a time.

Library News and Updates

Books for Easter and Lent are in the Library!

Our books for Easter and Lent are now available for checking out. Each week before Easter some specific books will be highlighted on our display tables. We have books for both adults and for children.

Several of our children’s books help children learn the difference between a popular culture message of Easter (the Easter bunny, etc.) and the real meaning of Easter, which is Jesus’ death and resurrection for our sins. We also have free Easter coloring pages that kids can color at the library or take home to color later.

One highlight of our adult Easter books is  Jesus’ Seven Words, Our One Word by Pastor Martin Ives.

Make sure to stop by the library before or after the service to pick up some books! If you have any questions or want to locate a specific book you can also email us!

Library Reward Program for K-5th grade!

The library is starting a reward program for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Every ten times a child visits the library they get to pick a prize! Some of the available prizes are toy cars, necklaces, hairclips, and coloring books.

One of our librarians will be visiting K-5th grade Sunday School this Sunday, March 26th, to tell the kids all about the new program. You can also stop by the library to learn more about it. K-5th graders who stop by on March 26th
can choose one free prize before they start the program!

If you have any questions, please email us!
